Käserei Champignon BRIE & CAMEMEBERT IN TINS

The pull tab tin keeps these soft ripened cheeses fresh and easy to serve on any occasion. The Käserei Champignon Camembert or Brie are perfect for picnics, hiking, skiing, or just at home. Made from pasteurized cow’s milk. These cheeses pair perfectly with fruits like apple and berries and with white wine.

CAMEMBERT

Our Camembert is how Käserei Champignon got started in 1908 and it is still one of the company's main items. Sold in a tin to preserve its freshness until you decide to eat it.

BRIE

Our Brie is a very close relative to the Camembert, nutty in the undertones but in general very mild. Like the Camembert it's made from pasteurized cow's milk and will keep fresh for a while due to the sealed tin.

LACTOSE FREE, GLUTEN FREE, & VEGETARIAN

Käserei Champignon Camembert & Brie are lactose-free due to the natural maturation process during cheese-making. Our cheeses are all naturally gluten-free and because we use microbial rennet, they are 100% vegetarian-friendly.

WHAT DOES “SOFT-RIPENED” MEAN?

A soft-ripened cheese is a cheese that is aged from the outside in. The mold and cultures that are added to the cheese during the cheese-making process form a bloomy white exterior on the outside and creamy interior as the cheese ages.

All cheeses made by our supplier Käserei Champignon are made using pasteurized and rBST-free milk from cows in the alpine region of Bavaria, Germany. We promise fresh quality milk in every ounce of cheese.
